The nearby station provides links to Rome city centre and the beach at Ostia Lido. Fiumicino Airport is 15 minutes' drive away, and a transfer service is available on request. You also have discounts with a partner scuba diving centre.

Rooms at La Villa are bright and colourful, and each features a desk. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer and free toiletries.

The room was clean, comfortable and secure, with enough space, and had a lovely covered private terrace. Breakfast is not included but there is an amazing bakery/bar/cafe right next door where you can get wonderful pastries and slices of pizza. You can also park there, and it's popular with local people. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to Ostia Antica in 20-30 minutes (although the road is quite busy) and there is a supermarket and restaurants nearby. The place doesn't look much from the road, but don't judge from the first impression. We were only there 2 nights before returning to the airport, but we wouldn't hesitate to return for a longer stay as it's possible to travel into the centre of Rome using public transport, or visit the coast.
