In the tiny town of Murci this pizza inn and restaurant, hotel is a bit hard to find but well worth the effort. The owner/chef/hostess was a wonderful multi-lingual bustling energetic person. The old inn looks well worn inside and out. They have scheduled and spontaneous music in the dining room, although we were past the season for that. The WiFi was free and reasonable with a few dead spots. The old rooms were incredibly spacious which allowed for the first full-size, walk-in shower of our trip. The breakfast and the pizza at night were made mostly from local product/ingredients and the warm bread and homemade jams at breakfast were lovely. Absolutely quiet all night except for the wind and rain, which were joyous. The old keys to the room felt so unnecessary that we forgot them in the lock (from the outside) all night. Parking is simply anywhere on the street.

At night you can take a walk in the village where locals are very welcoming and kind. The owners are very flexible, fluent in many languages and very kind.

The views for sunrise and specially sunset are amazing. The town is not turistic, giving it a real air of a medieval italian town, where everyone greets you as you pass by. Beautiful and thoughtful interior design.

Very kind and friendly host. Nice and quiet position, five minutes walking form the small city center of Scansano. Possibility of parking very near. The restaurant (excellent) managed by the same host was only at 20 m distance. The apartment was nicely arranged with a very comfortable living room with kitchen, a very romantic sleeping room and a very large bathroom. Many useful tools like washing machine, iron, oven and microwave were also available.
