the Kalibia Suites was a great place to stay - clean, extremely attractive with an ocean view. The host, Simone, was a very helpful and pleasant person. Even though it was a holiday and there were a lot of people on the street, the amazing technology of new Italian doors and windows blocked out all noise. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - every aspect of our stay was amazing, due in no small part to the extremely helpful and kind owner Vito. Vito was very communicative ahead of time and helped us arrange parking in the nearby garage (~3min walk). He even met us at the garage and helped us transport our luggage, and generally went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable. He gave us recommendations for things to do and even called and made a dinner reservation for us at a nearby restaurant! We stayed in the Blue room, which was enormous and lovely - it had an attached sunroom and a very nice roof deck -we were tempted to abandon our plans entirely and lounge on it the whole trip! The shower was nice and the bed was extremely comfy, which was a huge benefit after walking around Mazara one afternoon and visiting archaeological sites the next day. The breakfast spread was incredible, with fruit and sweets galore - we left breakfast both days extremely stuffed yet still wanting to eat more. We had a fantastic time in Mazara, and it may well be worth it to visit the city just so that you can stay in this hotel! We can't wait to visit again!
