    It is a very charming and historical location, like from the movies, both the small town and the hotel itself. There is an excellent restaurant in the hotel. Many walking trails can be reached within a short drive

    My stay at the Monterosa Residence was extremely positive. Alessia, the manager, was always available, friendly, professional and helpful. The location was great, quiet yet in the town center, with balconies with fine views of the Monte Rosa. Restaurants, ton center and grocery store all within 200m. Comfortable room, bed, bathroom and a very pleasant garden for relaxing in view of the mountains. Plus Macugnaga is an historic, unspoiled mountain town, ideal for hiking. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Great location at the end of the town, great views from the balcony, very comfy kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. Traditional yet modern interior. Very quiet the only noise is the nearby river which is amazing.
