The room was a beautifully decorated apartment. Correne and Joshua asked what type of breakfast we preferred and it was perfect! There was an outdoor patio to sit out in. It felt like a very homey comfortable place after 3 weeks of hiking the Alpe Adria Trail. Highly recommend to others!

We had a whole apartment at our disposal with kitchen, sitting area, dining area and terrace. This was particularly helpful in view of the bad weather which meant we could buy food in a supermarket and eat it in our lovely apartment. Everything was spotless. We awoke to a lovely breakfast already laid up for us. Gianna was charming; saw that we had what we needed and left us to our own devices.

Francesca was very kind and hospitable and asked us multiple times about our wishes. She also provided clear instructions about reaching the place and answered promptly when asked about our time of arrival. The beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was exceptionally clean and lovely to stay in. It is a self check-in property which means you need to be somewhat handy with that. Still it was possible to contact the staff by phone and get all the answers and help needed. We did, in fact, bump into an unexpected issue which was taken care of speedily and most satisfactorily. Truly top service in this respect and we managed to solve everything together. The owner runs a small restaurant on the ground floor which we recommend most warmly (check opening hours). You get to taste really good local specialties and be educated on high quality local wines. If you are a history nerd brace yourself: the owner will most certainly surpass your wildest expectations. Note that if you come by car you'll need to park your car outside town, on the other side of the bridge, but it's just a small walk from the hotel.
