I had a very good experience with Rainbo Sweet Rooms in Valmontone. It is 30-45 minutes with train from Roma Termini and a 10-15 minute walk from Valmontone train station. We booked this room just before midnight because another place in the area we had originally booked at stood us up and we were left without accommodation. The venue is basic but clean and self-check in was pretty easy too. There’s a supermarket right next door which is convenient for parking and to get food in.
