It was self catering but we cooked a evening meal and then a cooked breakfast the next day. We lingered as long as we could - didnt want to leave. this is a property that deserves a 2 or 3 day stay to relax and go out hiking in the day time. We would go back again for longer if visiting iceland again.

Very beautiful farm in the amazing valley with rivers and waterfalls. The guesthouse was clean and cozy. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. The host lady Eydís was friendly and showed us even the lamb-feeding, super fun! Totally recommend!!

It must be a Wow for this place. The owners build their home in the opposite wing, and some rooms for guests on the other half. The quality of the construction work is amazing, fine finish noticeable on everything, even the tile grouting. To me it feels just like rich people's house. With this price, I can't give anything else but 10 rating (since there is no 11). Place is new and perfectly clean. Certainly worth more than the money.
