The place is decorated well to provide everyone with a cozy atmosphere. All facilities are in good and clean condition. The kitchen is well equipped and the place has lounge areas in mutiple levels. Toilets are in every level, three showers in both the women's and men's side + plenty of hot water! Near the hostel is a delicious restaurant Skúrinn, where the staff was super helpful with food restrictions. I would definitely stay again.

A highlight was the excellent breakfast, and the charming staff lady Joy who dealt effortlessly replenishing the food items and dealing with the many guests. Joy was such a pleasure to meet and engage with, and epitomised the welcoming and cordial attitude of Hotel Fransiskus staff to their guests.

The Kitchen is small, but well equipped and it's enough space for cooking. It has a fridge freezer. Free Private Parking is directly in front of the door. Heating worked very well. Place is very quiet, despite most of the other apartments were also in use. Public Swimming Pool and Shopping possibilities, as well as the harbor are in walking distance. It’s definitely a good place to stay for more days, because it's a perfect home base for visiting the Snæfellsnes peninsula.
