The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay!

Situated by Road 206, this family-run guest house is 8 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur village. It offers brightly decorated guest rooms and free WiFi in public areas. Laki Golf Club is 11 km away.

Hosts were very kind and welcoming when we checked in, and gave a quick tour of the building and how breakfast would work in the morning. We had dinner that evening which was great, and breakfast was also good the next morning. The little cabins had a good amount of space, although the shower felt a bit cramped.

Don't listen to previous negative reviews, new owners are completely different. Had such a welcoming stay here, the lobby and dining room have the most amazing hygge vibe. Staff amazingly welcoming, lovely dinner and breakfast. Felt like a stay with family and friends. Rooms super comfy, clean. Hot tub is great.
