The owner has been extremely kind with us when we asked for a later check in because we had been late due to bad weather. We had the most delicious breakfast with homemade brown bread and local products. A must to do: ask for some advice about Connemara and surroundings!!

The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard.

The location of the b&b is absolutely amazing. We saw a seal from our bedroom window! Clifden is only a 10min drive so you're still close to shops and restaurants, but nature is right on your doorstep. We were received warmly by the host, Lydie, who gave us information about the area and showed us the room. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, there were home made jams, almond coconut paste, chocolate paste and caramel. So tasty. Also a selection of fresh fruit and of course pancakes or full Irish. All in all we had a great time and loved our stay!

Tom and Mary were the perfect hosts, extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Tom was very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. The room was very spacious and spotless. There was access to the nearby beach and the B&B was in the perfect location for the ferry to inishbofin. It was also in the countryside that meant peace and quiet so it was perfect for a great nights sleep.

The location was great. We could see the ferry for Inisbofin out the window and we could walk to the shop and restaurants. Parking was private and right outside the door. Inside it was beautifully decorated, bright and comfortable. We had access to WiFi and we watched Netfix on the TV which was great for rainy evenings. Sinead our host was friendly and helpful and available upstairs if we had needed her.

The rooms were very tastefully decorated, the beds were super comfortable with beautiful linen and spotless. The three bedrooms were huge abd the two double bed rooms had fabulous ensuites and spectacular views from the low windowed dormers. There was a very quaint tv and reading room with comfy sofas. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation. The host also had thoughtfully left welcome treats in the kitchen (croissants, scones, nice tea and coffee, beers, cheese and meat - a nice touch)
