Everything! We were on a mission to look for family contacts in the area. Nicole and Simon were incredibly generous with their time, as has been mentioned before. Between them we've been sent down more rabbit holes to investigate. Breakfasts were yummy, beds were sublimely comfy. The house and grounds amazing. Even the toiletries in the bathroom were special. We could have stayed a year. Thank you to our very gracious hosts.

    A large Irish breakfast was offered as an addition. The host also gave me a box of homemade cakes/pastries which was a lovely touch. Great location centrally and ample road parking with no restrictions.

    Best ever!!! I had a ton of luggage which made transportation to my next accommodation super difficult but the receptionists not only arranged for a local taxi (which was cheaper than the city taxi rates) transport me but also arranged an earlier check in time with my accommodation. She’s awesome.

    I had a wonderful experience staying at The Old Bank B & B, the decor and the atmosphere are tasteful and original, each room inspired by different aspects of local history. Extremely comfortable bed, lovely and quiet, with a fantastic Jacuzzi. This is a family run business, which they have clearly put their heart and soul into. Miriam is a wonderful hostess with a great sense of humour, I felt very welcome. Delicious breakfast too! I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area. Thank you so much!

    Greeted by lovely lady who was smiling helpful Happy go lucky type .     Great place to stay, very warm welcome by Maiiread. The room was clean, quiet, tv, kettle and little extra touches like chocolate and a bottle of water and biscuits to go with the selection of tea, coffee, instant hot chocolate. Would definitely recommend.

    The open fire in the library was very pleasant to sit by. It was useful to be able to use the kitchen. My friend really appreciated the furnishings and interesting decor in the bedroom and throughout the building. Room faced onto the main road but was quiet.

    Miriam went out of her way to ensure my stay was as perfect as could be. All rooms have interesting names and themes. Mine was clean, warm, comfortable and quiet with a jacuzzi bath ....perfect after a long drive. Close to Adare, this is also a convenient and interesting stopover location.
