For me, the essence of Croatia – picturesque bay, clean and calm sea (snorkeling all the time) and apartment very close to it, but also uncrowded beach and great location between Pelješac and Neretva Valley (thank you for the delicious grapes from there). It’s peaceful and quiet, away enough from the crowds, but still close to tourist destinations. Damir, the owner, as well as his family, very nice and helpful. Apartments were clean and well equiped. Peace and quiet and amazing views are what captivated us the most. Villa Mate has all the amenities and a great location. The proximity to the sea (10 minutes walk) and a wonderful bay where we spent a wonderful time. Mate is a wonderful host, he made us a delicious dinner twice, seafood and fish. Mate is ready to do a lot for his guests. It was a great vacation.

It’s only a few minutes walk from the beach (and the beach bar which serves great burgers!). Komarna is quiet but not desolate, there’s a mini market, a restaurant and a drink bar as well - also in a 3minutes distance, and you can visit the local winery as well (2km).
