The host(ess) was excellent. Very thoughtful and caring. Looking after our needs very well without being intrusive. She provided hot croissants every morning if we wanted them. There are all the elements for a good continental breakfast in the room including, cereals, cereal bard, porridge, yoghurts,yes, coffee, orange juice and milk. The location is excellent, taking only 10 minutes to walk into the town. The location is very quiet. The view from the window (we were in a back bedroom) is over playing fields with nice trees planted in it. It is close to both Lidl and a Tesco too.

Being a Grade 2 listed building in the beautiful City Centre of Wells we have a limited footprint which doesn’t allow us to have parking on site, however, we can recommend various long stay car parks only a 5 minute walk on foot from our front door.

Local pub great for food, a short walk away. Short drive to Cheddar Gorge and Weston Super Mare. Also Wells and Glastonbury. Nice walks from the property up to Nature Reserve on the hill. Church bells in the village exceptional.
