All units in the inn are fitted with a flat-screen TV. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at George Inn st briavels also provide guests with a garden view. At the accommodation every room is fitted with bed linen and towels.

The George is a beautiful old property with a lot of history. The pub is amazing. It has a fabulous atmosphere, and was a lovely base to spend a weekend in the Forest of Dean. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The beams added their own charm to the room, but it was also modern and well decorated. The landlord and the manager were very welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. We particularly enjoyed hearing about the history of the pub. We didn’t get the chance to eat at the pub, because we were going out with friends, but the food looked amazing. We will have to return to try it in the near future.

Dinner was great, beer was cold, and music was awesome! People were extremely friendly and it was a fun experience. I needed good WIFI for a few online meetings, and it worked perfectly. The area around the hotel has a ton of other restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

Our room was lovely, we chose to stay in the cheaper room, opting out of the riverside view. However, due to the location of the house our view was still lovely. The lady that checked us in and who we dealt with for our stay, was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also perfect.

We received a warm welcome from owner Anika on our arrival. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable and we settled in quickly. I had sent an advance message to Anika warning her of my wife's wheat allergy. Very kindly she baked a special gluten-free loaf which added to an already superb breakfast with fresh fruit salad, other home made breads and speciality jams and marmalade. A thoroughly pleasant stay in a glorious village.
