The room was extremely cosy, with a view over old houses straight out of a period film. My host and hostess, too, were absolutely wonderful, and their house an aladdin's cave of beautiful art, rustic furniture and antiques. A really other-worldly place to stay, with a prayerful atmosphere ideally suited to pilgrims to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham.

Beautiful location. The host, Bert, made us very welcome. Our room was very cosy and comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. Bert is a lovely, very kind gentleman. Would visit again, highly recommended.

The setting is lovely from the road to the carefully crafted garden. You stay in a separate building but connected by a glass roof which feels very secluded. I sat out on the night and the stars were spot on, but that depends on luck I'm afraid. I slept very well and had a nice shower in the morning. The continental breakfast that followed was top drawer, blew my expectations out the water. (All I left was the raisins)
