What I liked the most was the amazing hostess, Sarah. She is very kind, personable, energetic, helpful and also informative with what to do, where to go, etc. She was immediately welcoming and any anxiety I had about what the place and experience might turn out to be like when we arrived, disappeared. The breakfast was also amazing with several choices, a large amount of food and delicious!

The included breakfast is cooked to order and served in the property's bright dining room. A full English breakfast, fresh fruits and yoghurts, pastries and grilled smoked haddock with a poached egg are just a few of the options available.

Sue and Gary are very attentive hosts. They accommodated all of our needs. Gary gave us directions and maps to use for our hiking treks and detailed descriptions of what to anticipate on our journey. Sue provided us with anything we requested for our breakfast and our room. We laughed and had great fun sharing stories. They really made our stay in Keswick extra special. They have private secure parking and are located within walking distance of town. We highly recommend their B and B.

The bed and breakfast offers a Full Cumbrian breakfast. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available. Private parking is available for all guest cars.

Mat and Leigh were the loveliest hosts, they were so helpful with recommendations for walks around Keswick (and even printed off maps and everything!) and things to go/places to eat in the area. The homemade bakes were delicious and I loved the traditional date loaf I had on my last day in particular! Breakfast was amazing with plenty of alternative options apart from the standard full English (which was also really good), I especially enjoyed the salmon breakfast. The guesthouse was perfectly located, close to town and also a good starting place for various walks around Keswick, which is such a beautiful place. It's the perfect base for someone who wants to visit the Lake district but doesn't/can't drive, there are so many places you can go and walks you can do without a car (and there's always the Launch if you get too tired). My room was lovely, a great place to rest and recover after a long day walking. The bed was also very comfy! Thank you, I had the best time and I hope to be back again soon!

Great location between Keswick and Windermere. There’s plenty of parking and the staff member I met was welcoming, friendly and helpful. I only stayed one night on a work trip, the lodge provided a warm and comfortable stopover. I didn’t book breakfast as I’m happy with a cup of tea first thing. Best thing was the big lovely white towels! My room was cheap and only had a velux window so no view unless you stood on the bed.
