We stayed in Alnwick room which had a sofa . Nice size room. Breakfast was nice. Host gave us really good recommendations on places to eat / visit . We ate Italian / Indian and at the olde shop inn ( all excellent) 5-10 mins walk)

Julie was welcoming, friendly and assisted in us being able fully experience the area. Her recommendation for the boat trip and eating at the Black Swan left us with a great memory. She also makes a great breakfast.

Michael was an excellent host nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast time was amazing Michael asked what you would like? So much choice..... you could have exactly what you wanted and how it was cooked. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the local area. The bedroom and and ensuite were impeccably clean as was the rest of the property. A top rating 11/10! Thank you for the best New Year

Apart from the super comfy and cosy room, it was the genuine kindness and hospitality from Donna and Paul that made our stay in Megstone House memorable. Never to forget! And Paul: the breakfast was cooked to perfection! A real gem! Would recommend it to anyone! Thank you Donna and Paul ...

Just 10 minutes’ walk from the seafront and the harbour, this award-winning, 5-star bed and breakfast is within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Great room with balcony overlooking fields and the sea beyond. Very clean and comfortable facilities. Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious and too big for me and there are so many options. The owners are lovely people who are very helpful. It is a 10 minute walk into town which is lovely as the house and grounds have a real sense of space and peace. I would definitely return
