John is the friendliest, kindest host. There were many small touches with hospitality in mind that we really appreciated. The location is fantastic - quiet but a stones throw from the city centre. Would absolutely recommend for a stay in an authentic Victorian terrace house!

Annette and Max are so charming! We really loved interacting with them and their dog Harris. It was a very enjoyable long weekend for us as a family. We will definitely return when we are back in the area.

We used the sauna, which was good - you book a slot and have it to yourself, which was great. We ate in the Godfather restaurant, it was nice but a bit overpriced for what you get. The resort itself was also very clean and new looking and so so quiet, which we liked.
