Susan! Susan was so welcoming and she helped me with my bags - and told me the best walks to go on. She was incredibly inviting and made me really feel at home! The room was cleaned every day which I was not expecting. It was very comfortable with everything I needed - including the private bathroom. I would highly recommend and stay there again without hesitation.

Amazing breakfast cooked to order in the morning. We were happy to find such nice accomodation that is walking distance to the city centre that also had parking available. Our hosts were very accomodating and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived.

The room was very clean, with good insulation and heating for the November weather. The bathroom was also pristine, with superb water pressure in the shower. The location is perfect, being within walking distance of the city centre, whilst still being in a somewhat quiet street. The fact that there is a pub downstairs is the icing on the cake.

I had the room next to front entrance with king bed and large bathroom. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Ben was an extraordinary host and always made me feel welcome and offered to bring breakfast to my room. He went above and beyond helping me arrange shipping of a box back to the US. I loved being able to walk across the street to Tesco for some snacks or explore everything in downtown Canterbury. I was working remotely during my stay and wifi worked great. Will definitely stay here next time I am in town.

The hotel was superb. The experience from start to finish was exceptional.. The room was just as we imagined it would be.. The Food was incredible and the staff warm and welcoming. Only disappointment was that i did by the cookbook.

The room was very small and indescribably small. The room smelled very bad. I only stayed for one night, and there was no refund for the last night. You should never stay in the worst hotel. It deceives consumers. The online photos are completely inconsistent with the actual room. It deceives consumers. The bathroom is even worse and the washbasin is small. It’s as big as a man’s hand. The mattress is sagging. Such a bad hotel shouldn’t be posted online. Many consumers will be deceived. It’s too bad.
