Myroom[s] were outstanding - spacious, inviting, and beautifully appointed, with a balcony and outside setting from which to enjoy the River Teme below and watch the duck surf under the arches of the old stone bridge. Wonderful.

Amazing stay with lovely views. Well looked after by round host Ray. Property not far from town Centre and close to train station and Ludlow brewery. Fantastic breakfast! We had an extra living room next to our bedroom which was just for us. Nice to have the space and relax looking at the view.

Sarah was a wonderful host, and her rooms were immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. Good location to the city center, and a delicious breakfast ! All this plus free parking made the property an ideal stay in Ludlow. Highly recommended !

The historic atmosphere was great. The food was delicious and the location couldn´t have been better. The full English breakfast was made to order, piping hot and very good.

The breakfast was fine. The owners were very hospitable and also offered the use of their TV lounge and kitchen dining area. They even proposed meeting us at the local train station on our arrival. The Green Dragon is their home but we didn't feel anything other than totally welcome with our own separate space (bedroom with en-suite shower-room).

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is fantastic, great for a nice scenic stroll to the town.

Imagine being invited to a private country home for a short stay or the opportunity to be lord of the manor for a few nights. That's what staying at Caynham Court is like - not a hotel but a private home that takes in guests who are then encouraged to make themselves at home. The bedrooms are huge (even the en-suite bathroom was bigger than most modern hotel rooms!) with beautiful period furniture and you could comfortably enjoy your privacy there. But downstairs is a massive living area, filled with more antiques and comfortable sofas, and it's a place to mingle with other guests and, in cooler months, enjoy the open fire. The sense of being a country home guest extends to facilities. No TVs in the rooms - this is a place to chill and to chat. No tea or coffee in the rooms - instead there's a large, communal kitchen where you can help yourself any time of day. The kitchen is also where you get your own breakfast. It's simple - cereal, toast, yoghurt etc - but there's plenty of everything and you're not constrained to a particular time. We were also able to use the fridge for fresh food we were carrying with us. Diggory and Claire have done a wonderful job of restoring the house, making it suitable for 21st century travellers while still retaining much of its period personality. They've filled it with beautiful antiques and original art and it feels a privilege to share it with them. It's very much their home and they're around most of the time for a chat or to provide information. We loved the unique vibe they've created and would love to return soon.

Basic but everything that was needed. Clean, comfy beds, kettle and tea/coffee provided. Fantastic location to Ludlow centre. Heplful friendly staff. Would stay again.
