Alistair and Alida are exceptional hosts. Very friendly and helpful! The room was large and modern, and the pillows were wonderful! Not only did they provide us with an excellent breakfast, but we were also able to order dinner the night we arrived and the hosts delivered it to our room! Great touch for travelers who don't want to search for a restaurant after a long day's drive! Fantastic stay at the Golden Larches!

Very nice and cozy place. The hosts were lovely and the whole atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable. Great rooms and excellent breakfast. The garden was beautiful and you could see lots of birds and some chickens.

Comfortable and quiet room with good en-suite facilities. The property has been recently renovated to a good standard. Audrey and Mark were excellent hosts, the food was great and as a bonus they had a fine real ale at the bar.
