The log burner was fabulous at warming the place up. The kitchen was fully fitted for us to cook for ourselves. It was private and the bed was lovely the bathroom had a wonderful bath and the area was close to cynhordy viaduct for a great walk. Very quiet, with a lovely patio garden with a little pond (as well as the lake in the grounds) and seats there, off the beaten track and surrounded by trees and hills. The owner is kind and considerate. Breakfast was excellent, with lovely fresh fruit as well as outstanding full English.
