Das Zimmer und die Gesamtanlage sind sehr liebenswürdig gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben einen gekonnten einheitlichen Stil. Bei spezieller Bedienung oder wenn etwas nicht ganz funktioniert sind Schildchen angebracht, welche erklären, was man wissen muss. Man merkt, dass sich die Besitzer und das Personal sehr bemühen. Ebenfalls das Essen ist überaus gut und enthält schottische Spezialitäten in guter Qualität.

The host was very welcoming and manage for us a vegan breakfast, although it wasn't originally offered. The room was a little bit small but fulfilled our expectation. We stayed only one night and booked the room in last minute, so we really cannot complain. Whoever would stay longer might struggle without a car because there is not many opportunities for shopping.

My first view of Foyers Bay Country Guest House was a happy one. Perched on a hill surrounded by gardens and forest, this majestic, old, stone mansion was built in 1896. My beautiful, immaculately-clean room, with its, oh-so-comfortable bed, had a large balcony that overlooked the gardens, forest and Loch Ness. If you like quiet, like you’ve never heard it before, breathtaking forest and beach walks, free-roaming roosters calling each other in the afternoon to wander off into the woods together, red squirrels and pretty songbirds at the feeders, butterflies and bees in the bushes, inquisitive cats coming in and out to stay informed of what you’re up to, and old-style open windows that let in the freshest country air, then Foyers Country Guest House is right for you as it was for me! The pleasant, gracious, hard-working owners, Elly and Chris, kept me well-fed with freshly-prepared-to-order food and pampered with wonderful service, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable … gracious hosts in every way.

We had an amazing stay at the Highland Club for NYE. Our apartment in the old abbey was so spacious and lovely with modern furniture and all amenities you could think of. We had a fully equipped kitchen, huge living room, lovely bedroom and bathroom. A welcome basket was waiting for us, filled with all sorts of lovely stuff (snacks, noodles, rice, wine, cookies, fudge etc.). Also the fridge was stocked with milk, we had all the basic cooking ingredients... simply amazing! Staff were very friendly and helped us with our luggage (there is no elevator). The common areas were amazing - if you are a Harry Potter fan, this is the place for you! It really felt like real-life Hogwarts! We loved the indoor pool and also the big "common room" with pool tables and other games. The courtyard with the big chess game was also really lovely. Location right at the shore of the Loch Ness and only a 5min walk to the centre of the town! Will definitely come back!
