The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The owner did everything to make my stay enjoyable e.g. arranging for a taxi to take me to a restaurant. The breakfast was very good and I thought the stay was wonderful value for money. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this guest house.

It combines traditional pub bar rooms, with a larger dining area, but all tastefully fitted out. There are 2 bedrooms, with excellent bathrooms and rustic interiors. One has a 4 poster bed and both good tea/coffee etc. They are quite quirky, but very appealing. The food was very good and the service and staff excellent. The village is very pleasant, old and relatively quiet.

The property also has a terrific Farm Shop with fresh local produce, meat, baked goods, etc. That is where breakfast is provided. Our room was clean, quiet, nicely decorated and had a VERY comfortable bed.
