We couldn't use the bar as there was a private function on, and there was no breakfast so can't comment on that side of things, but there is a Co-op nearby so you can buy breakfast pastries if the local cafes are closed. The room was clean, and the towels & linen were good quality.

Although they don't do food at night they allow you to bring a meal in from one of the many takeaways within a few hundred yards, so we enjoyed pizza and an excellent pint in the bar. It is obviously a popular local but was not rowdy. It was quiet in the bedrooms. Excellent breakfast.
