The hostess Romay is wonderful! Very kind and accommodating. The location offered a great view and the rooms were comfy. Breakfast was also very nice. I also loved the dogs :) Think carefully about throwing the basketball toy though, throwing it obviously means making a commitment to keep throwing the ball.

Friendly host - though we only met briefly as they leave you to your own devices for the most part. Can recommend the nearby Conon Bridge Hotel for an excellent evening meal!

The room was very comfortable, the bed was extra comfortable, everything was clean, beautiful view over the Cromarty Firth, very quiet surrounding. The breakfast was amazing. Romay is a very welcoming and kind person. She also is the perfect host. We do love the two friendly dogs as well. We are looking forward to return. Thank you for everything!

If you need recommendations for evening activities, restaurants, tourist's attractions or just another slice of bread, Heather will provide you with everyone one would need. The guest house is located just a short trip north of Inverness in a quiet villages, which makes for a quiet night*s sleep and a great location for road trips. I highly recommend staying at Straw View and enjoy Heather's hospitality.
