There are so many wonderful things to say about the Rocks B&B. We booked the family suite, and for what I paid I expected one large room. However, we had the entire top floor to ourselves: two rooms with a shared bathroom. We were spoiled for space! The rooms themselves were spacious, immaculate, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I really appreciated fantastic water pressure in the shower and no delay for hot water. I thought the location was excellent--not far from great food (we mostly used take-away) and it was a great home base for trips to the Northwest coast, the Giants Causeway, etc. The location was also so peaceful. I slept incredibly well. Breakfasts at The Rocks B&B are not to be missed. You need to put in your requests the night before because everything is cooked to order-- and deliciously. We almost never ate lunch the entire time we were in Northern Ireland because the breakfasts were so filling. There was lots of variety and incredible portion sizes. We were worried that we would have to miss out on breakfast our last morning because of an early departure, but Cathy offered a slightly earlier breakfast which was so appreciated. And that takes me to the most superlative of all: the people. Cathy and Noel are amazingly generous hosts. I haven't stayed in many B&Bs and I feel like they set an incredibly high standard. Cathy makes communication easy via Whatsapp (if you're like me and never use it, get it loaded on your phone before arriving and experiment with it). Noel and Cathy requested that we not eat in our rooms, but whenever we wanted to have our take-away dinners they laid out plates, cutlery, glasses, and fresh water in the breakfast room for us and cleaned up afterward. Once Cathy even microwaved each of our individual Chinese takeaway containers when we wanted to finish the leftovers--honestly that was above and beyond the call of duty!

Charles is the ultimate host .We were delayed24 hours last minute .He immediately offered to try and sell our room and did. Large beautifully furnished room .Spotlessly clean ,lots of light,well maintained gardens,breakfast cooked to order by the owner and real value for money .Better than hotels that cost double .

Stunning Hotel and we had a great room with a beautiful bathroom for our sole use. The hosts Caroline and Maurice were really friendly and really looked after us. They also gave us a complimentary breakfast as we had a really early start the next day which was very kind of them. Couldn’t fault it. Definite 10 out of 10. We would definitely return.

We had two lovely days in this beautiful little room with lake view! Elizabeth was so friendly, gave us great Tipps for sightseeing tours and made a great breakfast, including the tastiest soda bread! 🙂 we can highly recommend to stay some nights here.

This was the perfect getaway for a few day's, and have already recommended it to family and friends. Colum and Elaine were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully set out cottages, in a picturesque courtyard. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, plenty of space for all your clothes, luggage etc, and a bathroom with a large shower. Breakfast is Brought to you everyday so there is no need to hurry yourselves in the morning. Ideally situated for a trip into Belfast City centre which in our opinion is a must. Likewise Giants Causeway, Bushmills distillery are also in easy distance. Can't praise Millbrae Lodges enough. Thank you Colum and Elaine for your wonderful hospitality, would definitely return. Beautiful setting! Would definitely visit again the bed was so comfortable, breakfast was delicious Primrose was so kind and asked what we would like and at what time. We had been thinking about our dog back home so seeing and hearing her dogs run about was lovely! Went for a little walk the next morning around the area and the roads were very quiet.

Joy and Ross were exceptional. They helped with food, parking and entertainment reccomendations. They made it feel like a home away from home. 10/10 reccomend staying here.

Breakfast was enjoyable: delicious, the hot food was hot, there was variety. Service was personal, friendly, helpful The view from the breakfast room was exceptional. Felt like we could take our time, no pressure to hurry. The biscuits were a surprise!
