Henry and Lise went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Even the cute little dog tried hard to make us feel at home by following us around and jumping on our lap. The breakfast was exceptionally good, with fresh fruit, home-made bread and eggs from the chickens in their beautiful garden. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Pictures don’t do it justice, and staff were wonderful - going out of their way to make the stay special. Dinner and drinks were bought to the room and we ended up having all three meals onsite as the food was so good.

Breakfast menu was also good and again breakfast was lovely. This is a dog friendly pub. On their website they also have several circular walks of various lengths, that take you from the pub and back. We did one of these through the Nature Reserve not far away and had a great time. Nice to come back to a cosy pub after a walk and get all cosy.
