We had a lovely stay with Lynn and Pete. They are very friendly and warm hosts. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. A lovely bright bathroom. We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Lynn gave us lots of information about the area. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice.. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a lovely weekend staying at the Grendon B&B, Andie & Neil were the perfect hosts. The house is beautifully appointed, warm and comfortable. Our room was very spacious and had 2 comfy armchairs to relax in after a hard days walking! Andie provides home made cakes for guests every day and Neil's breakfasts are superb. We will definately return.

The hotel was in a tranquil area of Buxton but still close to the centre. Since Buxton is not very big, getting around on foot was easy. They had a variety of breakfast options (even for vegetarians) and were also very helpful and even provided maps for walks. The room was very big and comfortable.
