Lovely place, ideally located for trips to Dartmoor or down to the coast. Exceptionally friendly hosts. The rooms are big and comfortable. There are sheep in the back yard and friendly dogs in the house. Restaurants and pubs nearby. We all loved it and would like to visit again.

Nathan and Kate were so kind and helpful with tips for exploring Dartmoor and surrounding areas. The breakfast was superb and we really appreciated the personal touches. We will stay again when in England because the location was central to all we wanted to do.

Mike and Edwin are lovely hosts, so friendly and welcoming. The facilities are just as described. The grounds are lovely. We used it as a weekend to get outside and explore, we think you will make the most of the experience if you have a car and can travel to nearby locations. The breakfast was good too!

We were completely wowed when we walked into the courtyard of Dartington Hall as we did not expect such a grand and historic property. Our room was enormous, clean and well appointed and more than catered for our needs as a family. As it is a little out of town we ate at the onsite pub/restaurant for dinner and breakfast but that wasn't a problem as we were only there for one night. A walk of the property and grounds was an outing in itself. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again if I was ever in the area.
