Location was ideal for visiting other places and a beautiful setting especially the sunrise on a good day... comfortable, relaxing house and room, very quiet...hosts Ben and V were very welcoming and nothing was too much if needed anything . breakfast was fab especially the toast...lovely local pub within walking distance The Pheasant inn... great value for money would definitely book again.

Everything. Food was amazing. When we didn't know what to do, where to go Karen and Tim would give us great advice and would even tell us tips on the best places to park.

Our room was tastefully decorated with a modern spa-like restroom. Breakfast was Cumbrian gourmet each morning. Best of all, our host John, treated us like family. We enjoyed our conversations with him and we could have spent hours enjoying his interesting stories and insights.

The hosts are wonderful - very warm and nice and helpful. The room was beautiful, specious, comfortable, clean and with a wonderful view. The bathroom is huge! It's located in a stunning area - many beautiful walks, lakes and vistas just short drive from there. We really had a great time there and highly recommend

Kate, our host was so generous and had thought of every detail in terms of creating one of the our accommodation experiences. Location is perfect, access to walks and a few minutes from Keswick. Our room was very comfortable and there was detailed information for the Lodge and local attractions. We honestly cannot praise Kate enough for her hospitality and excellence in every detail.
