The cottage was superb! Comfy and great to stay at. A fully equipped kitchen, very comfy beds. All was great! Dinner was very tasty, and we recommend it. Breakfast was SUPER - a big bonus !. An excellent service!!

    perfectly located for scenery, wildlife, peace, quiet and access to the North Coast of Scotland attractions. The cottage itself was perfect, like a home from home. Everything you needed was provided, it was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Hosts are lovely and we chatted to them several times when out and about as they run the farm nearby. They were very keen that we had everything we needed for a super holiday.

    Beautiful old house which is absolutely charming. Lovely big room with modern bathroom keeping traditional style of period features. Really comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast and a great host. We could not have asked for more. We absolutely loved our two night stay which was made better by the personal touches and local knowledge of the host Detta. You can cook a meal in the shared kitchen, so take some food as it is quite remote.

    Spacious clean bedroom in a refurbished Victorian House set on the edge of the small village of Armadale on the very North Coast of Scotland overlooking moorland. Superbly run by Detta who observed Covid rules effectively and provided an excellent breakfast each morning. Modern bathroom with the best shower on our travels. Good access along the coast and inland to visit magnificent scenery - a hugely enjoyable stay.

    Everything was so lovely at Armadale house - the property felt like a dream, Detta was so sweet and welcoming, and the house was everything we needed. Shower was great and bed was comfortable, it was clean but also homely and charming. Hope to be back again!
