Nell' incantevole cottage immerso nella campagna inglese ci ha accolti la signora Jane con tanta eleganza e gentilezza. La camera è bellissima e pulitissima. Il bagno, appena fuori sul corridoio, è privato e con tutto ciò che serve. Colazione impeccabile. Peccato aver soggiornato solo una notte.

It was a great and peaceful overnight stay during our UK roadtripping tour. Accomodation is very spacious and comfortable and we had a really pleasent and relaxing night.

Amazing staff and quite peaceful notwithstanding the proximity to a main highway. Some snacks (considering no breakfast and no stores nearby) in the room would have been nice and more sugar for coffee and tea.

The Garden Cottage is an idillic country residence with a warm family atmosphere and extremely welcoming and accommodating hosts. We had a very comfortable stay in a bed that we could’ve slept for years in. All expected extras provided, such as tea and coffee, bottled water and sweet treats. Sitting down to breakfast with beautiful songs birds on the doorstep (and one very sweet Robin saying hello) was delightful. I can’t speak highly enough of the Garden Cottage. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

The landlady Tammy was an absolute superstar I have two rescue boys that are quite hard work and she really went above and beyond to let us enjoy the two night stay over Christmas. There is an entire area next to the pub where we could let well behaved dogs off the lead just one I couldn’t as he could escape so it’s not fully enclosed but very handy for nighttime toilets and we both stayed in one of the hard floor rooms which was perfect as we didn’t interfere with other guests. Food was fantastic and my friend who stayed one night with her pawpal Archie is also well travelled and very fussy so we were extremely impressed Thankyou for having us and thanks for the late check out it was really helpful.
