The spacious bedrooms all have satellite TV, tea and coffee facilities and free Wi-Fi. Two rooms are en suite and another has a private bathroom.
Beautiful home in an even more beautiful rural location but close enough to town that we could easily go in for dinner. Room was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. Bathroom was like a new build and very clean. Breakfast room had a beautiful view and the hot meal was delicious.
Llanbister (Near Abbey-Cwmhir)

Each room has a TV or flat-screen TV and Freeview channels. The rooms also include tea and coffee making facilities and 3 rooms have en suite bathrooms with showers and one room is not en suite but has it's own shower room directly opposite. All rooms have complimentary toilets.

Lovely room and en suite facilities were wonderful. Breakfast was first class. The views from the hotel are breathtaking. The location is perfect, a short walk from all the facilities.

Room was lovely and heated beautifully. The whole house and grounds were super interesting with lots of lovely things to look at! The breakfast was delicious and they were able to provide me with lots of lovely veggie options. The host was also very helpful and had lots of local knowledge.

We enjoyed our dinner there. The room was very nice. The staff was helpful. We would go there again. The hotel is right downtown near a few shops with beautiful historic buildings.

In the old town area, just 5 minutes’ walk from the River Wye, this 200-year-old Welsh stone building is rich in original character and traditional charm, with wood beams and exposed stonework.
With original 18th-century timbers and a log fire, the lounges are furnished with deep comfortable chairs. The Horseshoe has been recently refurbished and now combines modern comforts and facilities with this lovely old building’s historic character. The rooms are decorated in a traditional country style and each room has tea/coffee making facilities, modern central heating and a flat-screen TV.
Lovely stay at the Horseshoe. Ideal location for exploring Elan Valley. Beautiful breakfast. Paul and Laura were warm and friendly. Parking right outside and close to local places to eat.
