It was one of the best guest houses we have seen before: newly restored historic building, brand new rooms with more than enough space and all the necessary equipment (except for fridge). There is a swimming pool and a beautiful garden, where the home-made breakfast is offered. The location is just fantastic, in the middle of peaceful countryside among historic towns and villages - great place to relax, retreat, enjoy the nature and silence, and certainly do some remarkable sightseeing. We loved it! We only stayed one night enroute to further south after travelling from Canada. it was absolutely perfect for our first night in France. The family was very welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean, the courtyard beautiful, and the views from the room were lovely. The hosts made our stay even more perfect by offering us wine in the courtyard to help unwind after a day and a half of travelling. But all of these details are nothing compared to the amazing locally-sourced breakfast that was provided. We felt so lucky to be back in France and I would recommend a stay here to anyone.

The gite hotel was lovely, and cosy on a very cold night. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and provided a wonderful home made breakfast, including crepes, jams, yoghurt, bread and brioche. This is a French gem. The place is located in the country with wonderful views. The house is over 200 years old but remodeled with keeping charm of old house. Clara beautifully decorated and keep it very clean. Location is very convenient to visit different sites if you have a car. It was very easy to find different beautiful villages around. Everything you need was provided including cold water in the refrigerator, bathroom items, slippers. Mark treated us with delicious meals and amazing service. Every dish was an art for breakfast and dinner. Clara and Mark wonderful hostesses and I would really like to visit this place again and recommend to everyone who appreciate great food and service.
