The location was idyllic and we could sit on the patio or the garden. It was really good to have a fridge and the equipment in general was very good along with tea and coffee. Breakfast was just about perfect for us. A great stay and we would certainly return and maybe stay longer in future.

The welcoming was really welcoming and polite. The old house is beautiful and our rooms were decorated with good style. Yard with the poolside, we hoped we would have more time to spend there! breakfast was fresh and simple (no burned croissants or anything as someone has said). One of the extra lovely thing was the animals (the dog, one funny cat, chickens ans lambs)! We enjoyed this place a lot.

A friendly welcome awaits you at this bijou cyclists’ loft at the very edge of town. Newly set out by the couple who run it, you sleep upstairs in a cosy little room with adjoining bathroom. We were grateful for the supply of fresh air provided by the unit installed on the ceiling. – The bikes meanwhile were safely garaged below, where we were also invited to make use of the fridge.

The check in was so easy, Pascal was there to greet us and show us around. He was really helpful with directions for food and shops etc. We had access to his laundry facilities too which was great! The bed was so comfortable!!

This is the perfect spot to sit and relax. Having been on the bicycle for 7 weeks and 1500mi, Chateau de Belle Poule was perfect to relax, watch the sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sunrise with a coffee. Everything was thought of by the hosts. Very clean, spacious, and we really enjoyed the mid-1800's buildings. Covered bicycle storage inside the gated complex was provided.

Beautiful and cosy chateau in truly dreamy surroundings. We made a mistake in our booking and the hosts still accommodated us without hesitation. The first evening of our stay the chateau hosted a lovely concert of local musicians coupled with delicious dinner of local specialties, which really added to the fantastic time we had there. 100% recommend and certainly will be coming back!
