We really enjoyed this beautiful and peaceful location. It is close to a lot of places of interest in the area. The hosts are very welcoming and give you good recommendations. The room is very clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the breakfast basket delivered every morning on our terrace.

We were warmly welcomed by Joelle and Jean-Francois who patiently shared their knowledge of how they had developed their property and of the local area. They kindly reserved a superb dinner in nearby Cadouin at our request. We enjoyed use of their pool with amazing views over the surrounding landscape. The room was spacious with en-suite bathroom and all needed amenities. A delicious breakfast was served alongside the pool to likewise benefit from the landscape views.

It's an old house in the country, with a garden. We had two rooms (with a separate entrance), one very spacious, and a huge bathroom. The rooms are very cozy, with beautiful old furniture. The breakfast is lovely - the owners bake their own bread and make their own jams, and there were several kinds of cheese and yogurts besides.

Absolutely everything. Brian and Cheri were marvellous hosts- Cheri put on the most fabulous breaks fast and has thought of everything in the rooms. Brian knows almost everything there is to know about the region, and helped us with activities and information. He also was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at the train station when our car rental from Bordeaux did not go as planned. If you visit Lalinde - or any of the villages in the Dordogne - do NOT miss the chance to meet Brian and Cheri at their incredible Maison.

Our hosts could not have been more friendly or accommodating. They went over and beyond, making us feel at home and ensuring we had all we required. Whilst we didn't want much to eat for dinner, we ended up with a lovely salad and bottle of wine. A throughly enjoyable night spent out in the country
