This is not like/dislike comments, more like info that’ll help you decide if this is for you. La Prairie is, in my opinion, a two star hotel with dinner and breakfast included in the price. The rooms are one story up. There is no lift. Bed is OK but not great. They provide sheets (you have to make the bed yourself) but not towels. Dinner is served at 8 p.m. sharp. If you’re in the bar, halfway through your drink, you’re kindly but firmly ushered into the dining room. The meal is a main course, in our case a paella-type dish (quite good and plentiful!) and dessert. Wine is included. There are no options, what they’re serving is what you get. How they handle vegetarians/vegans I have no idea. Dessert was a, also very good, baked Alaska-type dish. Breakfast is typical French: Coffee, orange juice, bread, butter, jellies, corn flakes, and several different yoghurts. There is no ham, cheese, eggs, croissants, etc.

Excellent chambres d hôtes in beautiful Les Angles. We were travelling with children and the house is very well ewuiped and confortable. The host is very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located, we could go everywhere on foot: to the ski slopes, sleighs, village center and restaurants. We loved Les Angles and the accommodation. We would come back.

A perfect hostess managing this charming wooden chalet with breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys of the eastern Pyrenees. A dinner that deserves many stars. Fresh melon, dried ham and cheese, a Basque chicken stew fit for a Basque knight and a mixed fruit and berry dessert to please a Princess, then a mixed plate of first class local cheeses, country bread, all washed down with scrumptious local red wine.

Lovely atmospheric place. We had the place to ourselves as the other 2 bedrooms were unoccupied. Handy épicerie just across the road and perfectly adequate cooking facilities.
