Hosts provided refreshing aperitif on the terrace for the guests and a delicious dinner, including wine and digestifs for a very reasonable price. This charming chambre d'hote is tucked away up a steep forested hill above the Lot river valley. Run by a private host who raises her own chickens, grows her own vegetables, and cooks delicious French-country-cooking meals. It is far from any town, but host will pick you up in her car if you're on foot. Communication is in French: she is very friendly in coping with language barrier. Lovely shaded outside terrace for meals, lounging around in hot weather.
