Friendly welcome from Veronique and Francis. Great effort made to communicate with guests with little French. Good advice on local walks etc. Immaculately clean and fresh rooms and kitchen/dining area. Use of kitchen to prepare own meals.

Bielle is a super location from which to explore this part of the Pyrenees and our hosts Elodie & Tibo were fantastic. The bedrooms are very comfortable, spacious and we had great views from the windows. The hotel is a focal point in the village and so its buzzy during the day and evening and we had great fun meeting some local people and exchanging Franglais. Genuinely everyone we met on our 3 days were delightful. My favourite part was being given a tour of the hotel by one of the children and exchanging expressions in French Welsh English and Basque and having a chilled beer just gazing at the mountains. Place and People are the key ingredients here.

Room was adequate for our needs. Staff very friendly and helpful especially relating to the Tour de France. Private parking round the corner for 6 euros a night. Lovely walks in the local area which we got from the tourist information over the road. Central for good restaurants, bakeries and deli's.
