The hosts were very attentive. Although they did not speak much english, they made every effort to ensure that we were comfortable in our stay. It is a lovely cabin with loads of privacy, and was the perfect spot for us to explore normandy from!

Charming, welcoming and attentive hosts. Lovely clean property with plenty of communal space (kitchen, dining room, living room) all well equipped with a tasteful mix of modern and character furniture and devices. Rooms on two floors, two rooms per floor with a shared shower room on each. Rooms a good size with wardrobe , chest of drawers and a couple of chairs. Shower room a good size newly refurbished and well appointed with quality fittings and lovely soft towels. (I think the whole house has been refurbished recently and very well done). Breakfast (€15) was superb with much from, or made from, produce in the garden; figs, fruit, yoghurt, bread, local cheeses, home made preserves, home made cake and pastries, smoked fish and lovely fresh (and copious) coffee. The property is on a D road into the town so not particularly busy and about 15-20 minutes walk to the centre. Take the hosts advice on eating out he knows it all well and can get bookings when others can't!

We had an amazing room- huge and very nicely decorated with ancient furniture, accessories and orchids. The bathroom was equally big and pleasantly furnished. The building is an old peaceful family house, charming and with a big garden. Lovely view on the port and the bridge, only a 10' walk away from the crowded center. Breakfast in the room was huge! The owner was kind and really easy going. It was a short but pleasant stay in Honfleur

The breakfast is just AMAZING, everything fresh and prepared just for you! The room is big and really clean, all the details are thought and you can feel the love and passion dedicated to this place. The Villa du Cedre is a delight in every way. The beautifully restored villa and gardens are an ideal base for exploring Honfleur - a peaceful oasis just a short walk away from the old streets around the harbour. Our host was very charming and knowledgeable.
