Everything..... The location, so remote, quiet and dark at night, yet only a short drive from civilization. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and Stephane cooked a fantastic meal for us too. Well worth adding to your booking. We stayed in the superior room which really was superior.

The owner was very friendly and the room was refreshingly cool, even during the heatwave that was taking place at the time.

We arrived at Le Sanglier Sauvage after a long day of driving. We were greeted with big smiles and immediately offered a chilled glass of white wine, sitting on the terrace enjoying the beautiful view over the gardens. Freske’s delicious home cooked dinner was also enjoyed alfresco, and all the stress of the motorways quickly dwindled. Our room was spacious with a beautiful, new ensuite and beds were very comfy. The perfect end to a long day. Breakfast was equally delicious, setting us up for yet another day of driving! Renske and Arnoud were the perfect hosts. We loved every minute in their little paradise and we will definitely be going back. Highly recommend! Nick & Gitte xx
