The host did us a favor and agreed to stay several hours past normal closing time in order to greet me. This was definitely appreciated. The room was very warm and comfortable and pleasingly decorated. It waa very comforting during the cold spring month.

This is the sweetest place I have ever stayed. The hosts were wonderful people who took excellent care of me. Location was just off the beach, which was perfect. My French is very minimal, but Emmanuel and Christine were very accommodating to that. I cannot possibly thank them enough, and I hope to have a chance to return!

Caroline was an amazing host who took every effort to ensure a great stay. The room was nice, the property is beautiful, and the location is a short distance from Omaha Beach. Breakfast consisted of fresh warm bread, homemade jams, homeade yogurts, and delicious cheee/pastry’s. We traveled with a 2-year old who was instantly attached to the host, who was very attentive and kind. Well worth the stay!

The owner was very friendly... Very understanding even let me use his washing machine, even offered to drop me off to Caen at about 7am so that i wouldn't miss the train to Paris... I would highly recommend this place for a solo traveller like me Or even a couple..

My son and I stayed for 3 nights at Ferme du Mouchel and enjoyed it very much. We were accommodated in the annex of the main house which has 2 comfortable and clean bedrooms and a bathroom. Breakfast was fresh and delicious - homemade jams, fruit and more was laid on at a time of our choosing. The location of the place is super convenient for access to Bayeux, Omaha beach and other attractions. Finally, the host was warm, friendly and really keen to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
