The property is fantastic, a little gem. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed is very spacious with modern facilities but very tastefully decorated in 18/19 century’s style. Beautiful swimming pool and garden. Great breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and will surely be back to explore the wonderful region.

Didn't expect that we would literally live in someone's house, while the owner were still living in it. But it turned out better than expected. The owners are super friendly, social, but they give you enough privacy. Help you wherever they can (itinerary, advice on the area ect). They prepare a really good breakfast with whatever you like, just mention it. We asked for eggs and they were prepared for us. They have a heated pool in mint condition. It's very quiet, with lots of nature around. You get all the privacy you need and they are always open for a good talk. Bonus: if you like Karaoke, just ask Robert to sing along and you'll have a funny evening.

We had a really big, comfortable room with a huge bathroom and our host was lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at the « Manoir des Gâtines ». The location is perfect to visit the surroundings of Saumur - lots of historical sites and wine yards. The swimming pool is a real bonus especially when it’s hot outside. We couldn’t ask for better hosts - gently and nice and the food was fabulous with local products.

Sleeping in Chateau de Brissac was a dream come true. The room was amazing, and having the castle for ourselves was an unbelievable experience. I wish we could have stayed more! Advice: save some time to walk around all the gardens!
