The accommodation is new and spotlessly clean. Inside the house, it's comfortable and contains the basics you'd expect from a self-catering holiday place. The owners were kind, helpful and very considerate. The site seems to be a work in progress with lots being done around the house but when we were sitting out or just in the house itself, the work seemed to be suspended to give us peace and quiet. We appreciated that. The village nearby is gorgeous and the views from the house across the valley are stunning.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau de Riverie. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and the husband is a professional and excellent cook. We highly recommend this place for a stay of a couple of days. You need to make sure to follow the road instructions from the hosts. Google map will send you down narrow streets along a crazy route.
