The breakfast was outstanding. Cake, galette , brioche, jams, yoghurt all home made, hazelnuts, fresh OJ, I had to try it all and it was delicious. The host speaks impecable english and is super friendly. Cosy room, fresh flowers and good wifi,modern en suite bathroom, all clean. Matress was firm and not worn out. Jonzac is just a few km away and has great dining. Parking just outside.

Pre-dinner drinks were served outside in the shade of a tree. Exceptional meal prepared from mainly local ingredients, accommodating our special requirements. Extensive breakfast with an attentive service. Pleasant round up of the stay when paying, accompanied by a gift of local vegetables, which we consumed the same evening at our final destination.
