We got very warm reception upon arrival. The host, Catherine, recommended a couple of restaurants for our dinner and even called the best one to reserve a table, which was hardly possible for a "non-local" at such a short notice. The room was spacious and clean. Though it is located on a busy street, there is almost no traffic at night, and there was no disturbing street noise. The breakfast was excellent, accompanied with a cordial conversation with Catherine. Would definitely recommend this place and the village Bergheim as a gateway for travelling in Alsace.
