Staying at Maison de Claire was a lovely experience. Claire, the hostess, was charming and welcomed us warmly, and the room was delightfully traditional and perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and home-made, with more tea or coffee if we wanted it. Our one night stay was a perfect start to our short cycling holiday in Brittany. In fact, there are cycling routes signed from right outside Maison de Claire, although we didn't explore those. Maison de Claire is next door to the town church, but the clock stops striking overnight, so we slept very well!

I recommend. Beautiful place. I recommend dinner served by the owner of the facility. Additionally, there is a sauna, whirlpool and heated swimming pool. Nice very friendly place. Peace and quiet.

We had booked an expensive Chateau nearby for a night while we visited Mont St. Michelle. I then found this B&B and on a whim cancelled the Chateau and am so glad that we did! This B&B was a dreamy little escape in the countryside and was just what our souls needed. We stayed with our 12 year old daughter and our dog. Had plenty of space and comfort for all. We were warmly welcomed and given everything we needed. Had a lovely chat over breakfast with the hosts, Anna & Nicolas; which made the stay even more enjoyable. Wishing you all the best! Would recommend to anyone looking for a unique stay in the beautiful countryside of Normandy!
