We loved the venue. All the restaurants were fully booked so I prepared a picnic which we ate in the grounds overlooking the chateau and we are so glad we did as we really enjoyed a mellow evening. Great pool too for sunbathing and swimming.

So many great things to say about this Château: the hosts were so nice and welcoming, the rooms were extremely spacious, each room has stunning view of the property, and each morning you are provided with a lovely homecooked breakfast

Lovely, kind hosts and a cosy studio in a beautiful garden with a little stream running through. It was so quiet and peaceful there so combined with the comfort of the bed, we slept like logs. Breakfast was delivered to us and was excellent - fresh bread, butter, jams, yoghurt, fruits and juice as well as fresh cake. A pot of steaming coffee and steamed milk.

Fantastic location right beside the river in Nerac near the old town. We had a warm welcome and communication was good. The restaurant served a selection of tasty dishes. Room was clean and had everything we needed, nothing fancy! We would happily stay here again.

We loved everything!! Patrice and Philippe treated us like friends from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was superb, beyond beautiful! The room was spacious, and the pool was amazingly refreshing. Nothing was too much problem. We couldn't find anywhere open that evening to eat, so our hosts made us a lovely evening supper! We couldn't have asked for more! Breakfast was gorgeous in the beautiful garden room. Attention to detail at every possible opportunity was exceeded. The hospitality of the hosts is fantastic! The attention to detail for example of the breakfast offering is amazing, the warmth of their welcome and the interesting stories and conversation. Moulin des Bapaumes is a house with history that has been lovingly restored and converted for use as a B&B. Yes, it is a 20 min walk (on the flat) into town but it is so tranquil being beside the river and having the lock below to watch the boats.

Everything was perfect. From the bed to the room to the breakfast… I haven’t slept that well in forever. The house itself is beautiful and charming. Our host was delightful. I would love to stay there again.
