We loved the venue. All the restaurants were fully booked so I prepared a picnic which we ate in the grounds overlooking the chateau and we are so glad we did as we really enjoyed a mellow evening. Great pool too for sunbathing and swimming.

Lovely, kind hosts and a cosy studio in a beautiful garden with a little stream running through. It was so quiet and peaceful there so combined with the comfort of the bed, we slept like logs. The hospitality of the hosts is fantastic! The attention to detail for example of the breakfast offering is amazing, the warmth of their welcome and the interesting stories and conversation. Moulin des Bapaumes is a house with history that has been lovingly restored and converted for use as a B&B. Yes, it is a 20 min walk (on the flat) into town but it is so tranquil being beside the river and having the lock below to watch the boats.
